MANDARIN CHINESE IN CANADA. Give thanks to God for the four new believers (two couples) from the new outreach in a neighborhood in Calgary who were baptized in September!
STUDENTS IN MALAYSIA. Give thanks to God for a church that will be planted by a group of university students, with most of the leadership coming from these students.
KAOHSIUNG, TAIWAN (GAOW-shong). This month of thanksgiving, let’s give thanks for believers on the small island of Cijin, one of the districts of Kaohsiung, and for T, who has been called to plant churches in this sleepy fishing village.
TAIPEI, TAIWAN (tie-BAY). We are so thankful for answered prayer for our student work and also for the way God is bringing local church planters to our attention.
ATHLETES OF EAST ASIA. Thanksgiving is one of the best holidays to share with students/athletes. Most have never eaten turkey and the trimmings, so they are willing to come and try the food, and that provides an opportunity to talk about the history of the season and to share the reason that we are thankful.
CENTRAL T PEOPLE IN ASIA. Give thanks to God that Central T Christians have the opportunity to attend a weekend training that will provide foundational biblical truths and give guidance and encouragement in having a devotional time with the Lord.
CENTRAL Y PEOPLE OF CHINA. Give thanks to the Lord of the harvest for showing His power in River village. So far this month, 20 people from River village have turned their hearts to Jesus and been baptized. Another 30 are considering faith in Him.
DREAM TOWN, CHINA. Give thanks to God for new classes of English and Korean that have formed in Dream Town, allowing believers there to reach new segments of the population for Him.
GUANGZHOU, CHINA (gwong-JOH). As you turn your hearts toward gratitude this month, praise God for the way He is working among university students in Guangzhou. A believer has begun a new Bible study group on a campus, and is finding a field ripe for the harvest.
JZ CITY, CHINA. Thank the Father for sending many friends from another country to show His love to the people of this city. Because of their heartfelt sharing about the Father’s love and their outreach activities and other ministries throughout the year, many people became His children.
METRO IN THE HEARTLANDS, CHINA. Give thanks to the Lord that many of those who have been trained to share their faith are eagerly applying what they have learned. They are sharing with friends, co-workers, taxi-cab drivers, restaurant workers–almost anyone who has an ear to hear!
RIVER CITY, CHINA. During this time of thanksgiving, please join in giving thanks to the Father for all He has done and is doing in River City! Praise Him for those who have believed this year and for those who are seeking to live faithfully for Him. Please be praying for His continued divine work among the people here.
SUNSHINE CITY, CHINA. Give thanks to God for national workers who are involved in church planting. Please pray for their safety and faithful obedience to follow God’s calling.
TEATOWN, CHINA. Give thanks to God for all He is doing in Teatown. Pray that He will continue to bring the hearts of the unsaved to the throne of grace.
WINDY CITY, CHINA. Give thanks to God for the new English ministry that has begun to draw in more students to hear the Word.
ZZ CITY, CHINA. Thank God this month for faithful believers who continue to teach others and challenge them to grow in their faith and their knowledge of Christ.
