Hands On - Evangelist-Explorer

You will live in a town that is on the edge of a large unreached area where 90% of the people are Zhuang. Work with a career couple living in the town and travel out over a large area of land to find out as much as you can about these counties. You will travel alone as a team, and sometimes with the career man. Goal is to learn as much about these counties as possible, locate people of peace, find schools, hospitals, and other institutions where we might send teams in the future.

Hands On - University Fisherman & Disciplemaker

You are needed! As a language student you'll be surrounded by over 20K students who need to hear God's truth. After morning class, hit the campus, practice your language, and make friends. Hang out, go shopping, share a meal, play basketball or video games, but above all tell them how God has changed your life. Share the gospel with many, and after they believe help them grow in Christ by modeling what it means to live out your faith in daily life. Join us and let God work through you in 2010!

Hands On - Make Friendships, Build Relationships

You will have opportunities in a university setting to learn Mandarin, make friends and build relationships. With these new friendships, you will be doing evangelism and Bible studies. One of your objectives will be to start Bible studies and train people to lead these studies so that when you leave, the study can continue. Another objective is to research demographics for the university and city. You will work hand in hand with the local missionary team leader.

Hands On - Sports EV Groundbreaker

Are you looking to spend six months of your life pouring into the lives of Chinese university students? Are you a gifted athlete ready to us the gifts God gave you to reach those who have yet to know Him? Volunteers will use sports as a way to meet students outside of the classroom. By initiating a relationship through sports volunteers will have opportunities to invest and share with friends. Are you ready and willing?

Hands On - Student Innovator

Are you looking to spend six months of your life pouring into the lives of Chinese students? By teaching at an English language school, English corners, and filling in for other classes as needed you will have many opportunities to invest in students and share your faith. Are you a self-starter with a love for teaching? If so, we are looking for a full-time teacher to be used in various ways to impact the students of southern China. Are you ready and willing?!

Hands On - College Student Ministry

You will be living 24/7 and studying Chinese language among 10,000+ college students in the local teacher's college. Come share your life and the Hope you have within you as you break down the walls surrounding their hearts and minds with the life-changing power of the Gospel. Your time will be spent building relationships, sharing the Gospel, grouping and training students to begin reproducing churches. You will receive intensive on-site training and high accountability to ensure your success.

Hands On - Student Athletes/Martial Arts Students

You will work with college athletes and sports students, and must play one or more of the following: Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Volleyball, Martial Arts, Body building/fitness, and Track and Field. Objectives: participate in sports activities; discuss life topics; English corners, bible studies, for the purpose of EV. Must be in good health. Athletes preferred.

Being on campus as a student and a teacher you will receive many opportunities to invest and disciple students to be church planters. Are you ready and willing?

Hands On - The coolest six months EVER!

You will come to a major Urban Center in China as language students at a local University. You will study language 12 hours a week. Outside of class you will endure hard core stuff as you schedule appointments with local English Speaking students to hang out at starbucks, play basketball, watch movies, sing karoke, and scarf blizzards at DQ. Come connect with local students and share your stories about how good God is.

Hands On - Mountain Biking Backpackers

Your objective is to research remote areas on bike or foot in order to gather information, develop contacts, and form relationships. The goal is to make 3-4 trips into the mountains. Work site conditions will be remote and mountainous. When in the place of residence your objective is to develop contacts from the assigned people group who are residing in an urban context (students, business owners, etc...).

Hands On - Build Relationships

You will work at school settings like colleges or English learning academies where you will teach English and learn Chinese. You will work with missionaries cooperatively on the projects or activities, learning and experiencing missionary work. These projects and activities can include; 1). Operating summer and winter English camps for many different levels of students, 2). Lecturing at college classrooms on American culture such as American Holidays, college life, American sports and education, 3). Participating in the culture exchange classroom activities like celebrating Christmas and Easter with local students, 4). Participating or starting English Corner where you meet with young people to make friends, 5). And involving in other recreational activities like hiking, swimming, traveling around to sightseeing, etc. You will also visit believers’ small group meetings with local students and participate in praise and worship. Through all these activities, you will meet and build relationship with local youths/college students with whom you can share some spiritual matters. Our team has two couples, young and old and two young single teammates and every one of us will be directly involved in helping you learn how to go about doing things and witnessing to the locals. If needed, we can show step by step training on teaching English and discipleship training so you can train the locals when the time comes.

Hands On - Malaysia

Hands On - Outreach to Remote Mountainous Minority People

You will travel deep into the remote mountains of China's poorest province taking the gospel to minority peoples who have never heard of God, Jesus, or their overwhelming love. You will develop relationships with young adults who have never know true hope, who have never found true peace, and who have never experienced true love. Your faith will grow as you help those who spend their lives in servitude to evil spirits to break free and find faith in the only true God. You will be CHANGED!

Hands On - Deep Relationship Building

Form deep relationships with and win the lost, disciple believers, and help birth a self-sustaining ministry on a university campus. Mentoring and coaching by a veteran missionary will reinforce mission theory and practice. Study Chinese Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to noon, and spend the rest of the day engaging students.

Hands On - Japan and Korea

Go to the edge to share the message of Christ Jesus in one of the least evangelized countries in the world, JAPAN! Plus, get the chance to engage an unreach people group in South Korea (the Chosun Jok). Be a part of Hands On Japan/Korea, an internship that will mentor you to make a mark! Help reach out to the campuses, make new friends, and lead a bible study. Experience the energy of teaming with others towards the purpose of engaging the lost people with the gospel. Hands On - Engineering Technician

The Community Development Team has the vision of caring for people’s spiritual and physical needs so that Christ’s love and compassion will be demonstrated and his word proclaimed. To this end our team does water; sanitation; and environmental protection projects. You may frequently live in situations with few comforts, requiring you to eat food which is extremely spicy and different from what westerners enjoy. The smile in your eyes and His will be a great reward for the hard work.

Nehemiah Teams: Campus Ministry

Come to a tropical country in the Pacific Rim and use your music, drama, sports or English language skills to reach out to students and youth. Work on a college campus reaching out to young people who have never heard the good news. Work with one of our existing churches to help them establish ministries targeting students and make contacts that will provide opportunities to share the gospel. You will experience the culture of each of the world's major religions in a country where English is widely used. You first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams. Learning the skills needed to carry out your assignment as well as team building will fill these first few days. You will then fly to Southeast Asia and travel to your home for the summer. Following your ministry time you will return for a joint debrief... sharing all that God has done over the summer.

Literature Distributors

Literature Distributors: FLEXIBLE DATES! COME ANY 14 DAYS BETWEEN MARCH 1, 2009 AND DECEMBER 1, 2009!Trek/Backpack among this people group. You will distribute literature packets in pre-determined locations and begin sowing a foundation through prayer walking. We will provide you with necessary information and instructions prior to your arrival as well as orientation and debriefing once here. Expect your conditions to be extremely rustic/camping out, especially out among the villages. Larger towns may have a traveler's inn but conditions may vary. March-October are ideal weather times to come.

Be unique, serve where you will make a difference

Spend your month planting seeds and helping local workers with theie need. Do what needs to be done. Opportunity will come when sharing your life and walk with local believers and to your local translators. You will have the opportunity to disciple and train them to share to their own people. You will meet people from big cities to small villages and everything in between. You will participate in English corners, bible studies, and teach oral English in Kindergartens and sports camp.

Cultural Exchange-University Ministry Partner

Through the use of creative methods designed for developing relationships with college students, you will have many opportunities to share your testimony and the gospel, resulting in many coming to beleive in Christ. In addition, during prayer walking trips, you will travel to specific areas; praying directly for those you encounter in hope of discovering God's chosen "people of peace".

High School Youth Exchange

If you are in high school and willing to take the plunge across the big "Pacific Pond" and hang out with high school students in China, then read on. We have countless opportunities for high school students to do a one or two week "live-in" with Chinese high school students seeking to better their English. You will fly to our city which is in the beautiful mountains of Southwest China.

Student Evangelist

The student will be working with the Hokkien Harvest Team to further church planting efforts in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. They will receive training and be expected to do the following: 1. Personal evangelism 2. Training and equipping of new believers 3. Help to establish new groups and churches 4. Prayer walking 5. Scripture and literature distribution 6. Unreached People Group Vision & Discovery Trip

As the mists shroud their mountains in the winter, so they have been shrouded in darkness. They have never heard the Message of Life. They have never heard of Jesus. You will travel among these people to meet and hear their needs. There will then be a time of sharing what's been learned. Travel, meals, and housing will be local. Be prepared to do some walking. The weather is similar to the southern parts of the US. Come discover the full spectrum of their lives as a rural, mountainous people.

Refreshing Grandparents Needed for Refueling the Saints

If you are a Grandparent or ?grandparent type? with a heart to refresh others and a gift of hospitality, you are needed. We are looking for singles or couples for one week to a month to give and just love on the families of our area. There are 5 families in this remote location with children ranging from newborn to age 11. As parents, we would be especially excited for someone(s) to come and love on our kids with game nights, movie nights, baking cooking, picnics, crafts, etc.

Evangelism Team for University City

This request is for a volunteer team who has a heart for university students. You will be prayer walking, teaching English at a language school, making friends on campus, participating in movie nights, games nights, parties, and other activities. You will also be used as language assessors in classrooms on campuses.

China Medical/Dental Projects

Medical/Dental teams needed to help gain access to restricted people groups in China. The volunteer will be a part of a larger strategy in place to get the gospel into unreached areas. For specific information on project requests, please see the MMR website: www.mmronline.org

Home School Assistant & Field Support

The main part of this assignment is to be an assistant to the three home-school mothers living at working at the Training Center. No previous teaching experience is required. Please come with a servants heart and a desire to help and love on the children. Encourage the children as you help them with their studies, reading to them, playing with them, etc. If you have special interests in music, art, sports, etc. we welcome you to incorporate that into the job.

Teach Bachelor's Level Business in China

This job entails teaching bachelor's level Business to Chinese and international students. See the addendum for "possible" subjects (not that you will teach all of those listed). The university will pay roughly 4,000 RMB a month for a Master's degree and roughly 5,000 RMB a month for a Doctoral degree. At the time this request was drafted those amounts, based on current exchange rates, would be $590 & $740 respectively.

This team will go into public schools to teach the history of Halloween and share how Jesus can break the cycle of fear and give them freedom! Believers who are creative, fun, and dramatic can share from their own lives how Jesus set them free! Easter Media Distribution & Party

Come to Bridge City (Banqiao, Taiwan) to share the gospel through media and an Easter party. Your team will purchase and distribute gospel media (think DVD) to people in our city and prayer walk the distribution locations. Media distribution will allow you an opportunity to locate individuals who are willing to talk with you and spend time with you (meal time or coffee time). SCP Macau

Chinese speaking volunteers share God's love with tourists from mainland China through Southern Cross Project Macau (SCPM) using specifically chosen Chinese materials for those who are very interested in knowing more about the Bible and Christianity. Volunteers can share a verbal witness in Mandarin to the tourists as they visit a local Macau landmark. Most distributions are for 3 hours in the mornings.

Southern Cross Literature Distribution

Nearly one million tourists from China are visiting Southeast Asia every year. For most of them, this is their first trip outside of China. They are VERY open to receiving Bibles, tracts, Jesus Films and other literature. This project utilizes volunteers to distribute Bibles and packets of evangelistic materials to these tourists. Individuals and teams will make contact with Chinese tourists at hotels and other tourist destinations offering them these materials.

Hands for Graham Festival

The Franklin Graham Festival will be hosted by Osaka in October of 2010. Our goal is to share the gospel with 5% (80,000) of the Japanese living in Kobe and surrounding areas. However, we cannot do this alone, we need more Hands to Japan! We need ordinary hands to join us in bringing an extra-ordinary message to the people of Japan.

Free Greater Tokyo - Frontline Evangelism & Prayer Walking

Come to Tokyo, JAPAN to share the Gospel through friendship evangelism. Build friendships with Japanese who long for a true friend. Meet new people by being an English practice partner, distributing tracts, face painting, sports evangelism, or balloon sculpting in order to meet Japanese and share with those who are open to Christ. Prayer walk Buddhist temples, the imperial palace, and other strategically important areas for the Gospel. Help share the gospel with 33 million who have never heard. 2010 Autumn Harvest Hands

Autumn Harvest volunteers will help the missionary evangelize the masses in order to find a few who are intereested in studying the Bible. 2010 Festival Time

Come participate in one or both of these famous festivals in the Kansai area. The Gion Festival in Kyoto takes place during most of July, but the most popular events are between July 14 - 16. On July 24-25, Osaka hosts one of the largest festivals in the region. We need volunteers to help us engage the masses that will attend these festivals. Family Missions in Japan

WANTED: Families on mission in Tokyo, Japan. Prayerwalk and do lifestyle evangelism with your children. Help your children to have a passion for the lost. Jozenji Jazz Festival Team

The team will contribute to the extension of the Gospel witness among the 1.3 million Japanese living in Sendai by prayer walking, literature distribution, and personal evangelism. The objective is to discover prospects for evangelism and church planting resulting in new contacts and the starting of new groups that will eventually become house churches. Nehemiah Teams: Refugee Team

This summer you can help change the lives of refugees from an unreached people group. After escaping from their home country, these young people traveled & spent time in other Asian countries before they finally found a home in South Korea. Your team will live with these students, teaching them English, life skills, and showing them that there really is a God who loves them.
